Information
In this section, we provide information on how to take the Dutch crash course.
Our first piece of advice is to find someone to take the course with. Learning together is much better than learning alone.

Why together?
You keep each other motivated; that’s the most important thing. Make a weekly appointment. During that appointment, check whether you know the words.
Person A asks: “What’s the word for table?”
and then
Person B asks: “What’s the word for spoon?”
So you take turns.
Of course, you have to learn the words before your partner checks whether you know the answers.
While learning, write down the words in your language, along with the Dutch words. This is the only way you can check whether your learning partner is saying the correct Dutch word.
So you have to complete a section of the course each week!
Week 1: Learn the first set of exercises. See image.

Week 2
This is a heavy week as you have to learn many words. If the the number of weeks is indeed too much, split the list into two parts. Learning can be difficult if you are not used to it.
So slow down if it goed too fast.

Week 3
In this week we will learn how to make simple sentences.
The illustration already shows how these sentences are made by simple pictures.

Week 4: coffee time!
Time to drink coffee or tea.
Now we give sentences that are more difficult to depict with pictures.
Just learn all these expressions.
Then use these sentences when you drink coffee or tea.

The idea is simpel
For the next weeks each time make a list of the blocks you can do. Some couples will do it rather quickly whereas other will have more problems. In that case don’t select to many blocks.
I’m sure that at this moment you know how to study and you and your partner will be succesfull!
